2Ch 19:2 And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.
King Jehoshaphat was not accused of abandoning the Lord or hating him, he was accused of fellowshipping with the ungodly and the wrath of God kindred on him. Many people around the world do not understand why there is a demotion, stagnancy, unproductivity and unfruitfulness in their lives.
The scripture says; bad company corrupts good morals and this decrease the glory of God in their lives. The first human being Adam his wife Eve kept a company with the serpent and was beguiled 2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted .
Now you won’t fide the serpent literally you will find human being who the bible say they are generation of serpent please Note and disconnect. Mat 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
For this reason of Eve keeping company with the serpent men fall short of the glory of God and lost his place of authority. Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. 2 Cor 6;14What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
PRAYER
Heavenly father help me to keep the right fellowship, cause my feet not to walk to the ungodly but to dwell in your presence forever, in Jesus mighty name, amen.
